LYSD (Leading Youth, Sport & Development) is an organization whose vision is to use sport as an educational tool as well as a driver of social cohesion and well-being. Founded in 2012, it provides young people with a structured and supportive environment that promotes academic success, life skills development, and socio-professional integration.
Launched in September 2023, the Milédou program—which means “We are together” in Mina (a Togolese language)—relies on a network of educators and uses basketball to connect with young people (ages 8–18) and support their personal development.
